Tennis Events & Instruction

A permit is required for all events, instruction sessions, and clinics held at Sea Point tennis courts.

To apply for a permit, complete this Tennis Court Event Permit Form and submit it to Property Advantage at least one week prior to the gathering.
Follow the instructions on the permit form.

To ensure that all Sea Point residents can enjoy our tennis courts, it's important that court rules be observed, especially rules regarding events held at the courts, instruction sessions, and clinics.

When planning an event at the courts, conducting instruction sessions, or holding clinics, it is important to carefully review the complete list of tennis court rules (Section I in Sea Point's Rules and Regulations). All court rules apply during a permitted event -- and please make special note of the following:

Resident & Guest Responsibility
The approved and signed permit must be posted at the tennis court gate during the gathering. The permit holder must be present at the permitted event and is responsible for all residents and guests attending the event. The permit holder is also responsible for informing guests of Sea Point's tennis court rules. Guests must be accompanied by a resident; recreation key cards may not be shared or loaned; court gates must remain closed and secured.

Court Availability
Events may reserve up to three (3) courts. Court 1 must remain available
for general resident play at all times. Only the court(s), date, and time specifically approved may be reserved.

Court Rules & Courtesy
All participants must comply with the Tennis Court Rules & Regulations, including requirements regarding court etiquette, proper attire, noise, prohibited substances, glass containers, and safe use of the courts.

Court Care & Cleanup
Association benches, nets, windscreens, and other equipment may not be moved or altered. The court area must be left clean, and all trash, tennis balls,
containers, and personal belongings must be removed or properly disposed of after the activity.

Instruction & Clinics
Tennis instruction and instructional clinics are limited to one (1) court at a time. Instructors must meet applicable Association vendor, licensing, and insurance requirements. Current proof of liability insurance must be submitted with this application and kept on file with Association management.

Community Safety
Serious safety or conduct violations are subject to the Association's Zero Tolerance Policy as outlined in the Community Safety & Shared Amenities Policy.
