Gatherings at Sea Point's Pools
|
A Pool Permit is required for all gatherings
of 6 or more at Sea Point pools. To apply for a permit, complete this Pool Permit Form and submit it to Property Advantage at least one week prior to the gathering. Follow the instructions on the permit form. |
To ensure that all Sea Point residents can enjoy our pools, it's important that pool rules be observed, especially rules regarding gatherings at the pool -- this includes pool parties and meetings.
When planning a gathering at one of Sea Point's pools, carefully review the complete list of pool rules (Section I in Sea Point's Rules and Regulations). All pool rules apply during a permitted event -- and please make special note of the following:
Permit Requirements
- The approved and signed permit must be posted at the pool gate during the gathering.
- The permit holder is responsible for all residents and guests attending the permitted event and is responsible for informing them of Sea Point's pool rules.
Access and Supervision
- No lifeguard is on duty. Anyone using Sea Point's recreational facilities does so at their own risk, responsibility, and liability.
- During the permitted event, the pool remains open to all Sea Point residents with key cards.
- The gate must not be propped open. Propping open the gate damages the card reader.
- Children under the age of 14 using the pools must be accompanied by an adult who is in possession of a Sea Point key card.
Conduct and Noise
- No organized games, including "Marco Polo," water polo, tag games, or other pool games.
- No running, diving, or "cannon balling."
- No loud music. Music players must be kept on a low volume that does not disturb others using the pool or nearby residents.
- No smoking or vaping in the pool area.
Prohibited Items
- No glass containers in the pool area.
- No pets, bikes, or e-bikes inside the pool fence.
Cleanup
- All trash from a permitted event must be removed and properly disposed of by the permit holder.
- Permit holders must return furniture to its original position and leave the pool area clean and tidy.
